New player assessment workout
South Wake Sports Academy, 6109 NC-55 South, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
The Central North Carolina Men’s Senior Baseball League is planning a preliminary assessment day to evaluate new players.
It will take place on February 26th, starting at 12:00 pm at South Wake Sports Academy facility in Fuquay-Varina.
South Wake Sports Academy is located at 6109 NC-55 South, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 [map]
18+ Division – 12:00 PM
If you are planning on playing in the 18+ division you should plan on arriving at South Wake Sports Academy no earlier than 11:45 pm.
35+ Division – 1:00 PM
If you are planning on playing in the 35+ division you should plan on arriving at South Wake Sports Academy no earlier than 12:45 pm.
50+ & Classic (60+) Divisions – 2:00 PM
If you are planning on playing in the 50+ or 60+ divisions you should plan on arriving at South Wake Sports Academy no earlier than 1:45 pm.
Sign up to officially join the league. This collects all the information we need to add you to the list that managers can draft from.
Let us know that you intend to participate in the assessment day so you will be selected for a team this season.
Stuff to bring with you to Assessment Day
There will be a lot of guys packed into a small space, so please bring the following with you to save time and aggravation.
- Print out the current CNCMSBL waiver, complete it and bring it with you.
- Your baseball glove and wood bat.
- If you’re a catcher, bring your gear.
- This is a climate-controlled indoor facility, wear appropriate clothing and sneakers.
- You should bring something to drink.
- Patience
What if I can’t make it on assessment day?
There may be an additional assessment day held at the Holly Spring High School baseball field at a later date.
