CNCMSBL Player Assessment & Draft Day
New player assessment workout
Baseball Rebellion 4502 Bennett Memorial Rd, Durham, NC 27705

On February 23rd a bunch of guys who love baseball will show up to see if they still got it. Do you miss playing baseball?

You should plan on bringing your glove and a wood bat at the very least. You should try to stretch, throw and hit a little bit before you get there. If you’re planning on trying to pitch or playing catcher, make sure that you are ready to do that.

If you want to sign-up before assessment day to let us know you’re coming, we would appreciate it.

Although we may refer to this as a “tryout”, it’s more of an assessment. Everyone will get assigned to a team. In fact, in 2018 we had so many new 50+ guys show up that we built a brand new team from them.

Weather Concerns

Baseball Rebellion
Baseball Rebellion
Because of the rain forecast for most of this week, we’ve decided to play it safe and move from Holly Springs High School to the indoor baseball training facility at Baseball Rebellion in Durham.

If you love baseball, you should plan on attending. There will be guys who just finished playing and guys who haven’t played in 25 years. There’s a division for everyone. The CNCMSBL has been around since 1989 and is a wood bat league that is both fun and competitive. Each team plays about 20 weekend games from April through September with playoffs to crown a champion at the end.

The Plan

The plan for Saturday is for you to show up at Baseball Rebellion around 3:00pm and sign-up and sign the league waiver to play. We will give everyone a chance to warm up before your time in the batting or pitching cages.

There is some parking in front, but plenty more around the sides and back of the facility.

The facility is climate controlled, so plan on a very comfortable 70 degree workout.

If you’ve already signed up to play, let us know (either way) if you’ll be able to attend assessment day.
